Paul’s biography
Paul Wesley born as Paul Thomas Wasilewski in New Brunswick, New Jersey on 23th of July 1982, and grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey. Paul’s parents moved before Paul was born from Poland to the USA. He as an older sister, Monika and two younger sister, Julia and Leah.
Paul changed his last name from Wasilewski to Wesley, because Wasilewski is hard to pronounce. He asked his family for permission.
During high school he has bin cast as Max Nickerson
Guiding Light. He graduated from there in 2000 and then started college at Rutgers University but left after one semester with his parents’ support when more roles were offered to him and he realized he could make a career out of acting.
Paul has had a number of roles on shows such as Smallville, The O.C., 8 Simple Rules, Wolf Lake, Cane and American Dreams. Also he had an rol in 24 he played Kim Bauer’s husband, Stephen.
His first lead role was in the Miniseries Fallen. In Killer Movie played his first lead role in an movie.
Since 2009 he is Stefan Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries.
